The Particles Fell Silent delves into the intersection of science and spirituality, drawing inspiration from the behavior of subatomic particles and the mysteries of the quantum world. The exhibition presents a series of large-scale installations, paintings, and video art that capture the moment of stillness in a universe of constant motion. Weiss invites viewers to contemplate the paradox of silence within the chaotic dance of particles, exploring themes of existence, entropy, and the invisible forces that shape our reality.

About the Artist
Anna Weiss is an emerging German artist, known for her explorations of quantum physics and metaphysical concepts through a mixed-media approach. Her works have been described as hauntingly beautiful, blending scientific precision with ethereal abstraction. Weiss studied Fine Arts at the University of the Arts Berlin and has been featured in several group exhibitions across Europe. The Particles Fell Silent marks her first solo exhibition in Berlin.
Featured Works
- “Quantum Veil” – A mixed-media installation combining transparent fabrics, LED lights, and soundscapes, creating a visual representation of the unseen forces in the quantum field.
- “Entropic Silence” – A series of oil paintings that abstractly depict the concept of entropy, with swirling patterns that gradually dissolve into calmness.
- “Particle Horizon” – A video art piece that simulates the behavior of particles at the edge of a black hole, accompanied by an ambient soundscape designed by composer Jonas Richter.
Curatorial Statement
Curated by Dr. Lena Fischer, the exhibition aims to bridge the gap between the empirical and the existential. Dr. Fischer, an art historian with a background in physics, highlights Weiss’s ability to translate complex scientific phenomena into emotionally resonant art, making The Particles Fell Silent not just an artistic experience but a meditative journey into the fabric of the universe.
